Job Description
STEM Women - Commercial Graduate Rotation Programme
Location: Liverpool City Centre (initial split will be 4 office days and 1 wfh day)
Full Time (40 hours working week)
Salary: Competitive
About Us:
STEM Women introduces university students to graduate employers through our careers events and our job board services. We have become the market leader within this niche, growing sector and have clients based in the UK, Benelux, Ireland and Australia.
We are an established SME with 11 staff, and we work in a friendly, collaborative, and supportive environment. Our business is expanding year on year. In summer 2022 we are moving into a larger office and growing our team.
Our Role:
We have created a 12 month long graduate rotation programme, aimed at attracting candidates who want to work in different areas of our business.
Applicants should have an interest in performing sales support (client facing), social media and university outreach tasks.
The rotation programme will involve gaining experience in 3 different roles/teams over a twelve-month period and receiving training in each area.
After completing all three rotations we anticipate that new hires will then be offered a long-term role within their preferred team.
Job Role:
The rotation will involve working on sourcing tasks every day, and then working in a design and social, university or sales support position.
Sourcing Tasks
- Identify an agreed number of students or employers per day. Introduce our events via email/social media.
- Event day tasks. For most events this will include overseeing a campaign of event related posts/tweets across various platforms. For physical events this will include travelling to the venue and helping with logistical tasks.
Design and Social -
- Design and Canva tasks. Creating social banners, event graphics, images incorporating client logos for social, update signatures etc.
- Post event specific and brand related content across all social channels. Share blog articles/website content with social audience.
- Analyse social audience, targeting growth and outcomes. Understand how we can grow our audience and in turn how that can benefit our event sign-ups. This should then factor into social content plans.
University Tasks
- Manage a database of university contacts so that we can promote our events and our brand through societies, departments and careers services. This will include paid and free marketing.
- Promote our website and gain back links from relevant partner sites. Offer to create guest blogs and request links from directories.
Sales Support
- Identify companies who may be interested in exhibiting at our events through market research. Add relevant contacts to our CRM (Salesforce) and send initial introduction.
- Identify companies who are posting vacancies and determine whether to introduce our event, job board or agency service.
- Assist with client Zoom calls. Introduce STEM Women to clients that have requested a meeting and demonstrate our event platform.
