Experienced Life Science Medical Writer
Job Location: Manchester and Cheshire
Job Salary: £35,000 upwards depending on experience

Our client is a Scientific Communications Agency, who work with global pharmaceutical companies to deliver publication strategies and plans.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Experienced Medical Writer to join their expanding team. You will be involved in scientific projects and medical writing for pharmaceutical and science based companies, as well as managing other Medical Writers. Job duties tend to be highly content based whether it is writing abstracts, posters, peer-reviewed papers or strategy documents for their clients.
Job Duties:
- Producing creative writer work on a range of therapeutic areas
- Evaluate scientific literature
- Producing abstracts, posters, peer reviewed papers or strategy documents for clients
- Manage communications and demands from clients
- Coach and mentor less experienced Medical Writers, providing clear briefs on projects
- Monitor personal project costs as well as those of the other Medical Writers
Job Requirements:
- A BSc, MSc or PhD in any life science subject (Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Science etc.)
- Around 3 years' experience in Medical Writing for another agency
- Excellent written, oral and grammatical skills
- A desire to deliver excellence in scientific communication, and a strong interest in the pharmaceutical and scientific industry
