Junior Operations Assistant (Regulatory Compliance)

Location: City of London

Salary: £22,000 to £24,000 plus benefits, bonus and exam costs.

Job Summary: Enthusiastic team player required for a Junior Operations role with opportunities for career progression.

An award winning, trading and investments group dealing in a wide range of financial instruments.  Providing services to an extensive global client base, trading in commodities and energy based derivatives. 

Role

The role is focused on cash operations and regulatory compliance.  Working as part of a small team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of tasks covering: cash settlement, trade delivery, cash overview and forecasting, FX transacting, legal and regulatory filings and helping to administer the firm’s compliance and monitoring programme.

You will gain an understanding of trade booking, system processing, cross border transactions, financial and physical products and the legal, regulatory and compliance landscape for asset management and financial firms in general.

Skills Required

Essential: 

  • Educated to degree level
  • You will be comfortable with mathematics and an expert with Excel. 
  • You will be a team player, with an attention to detail and a strong desire to learn.
