One of our most exciting Clinical Physiology clients is on the lookout for life science graduates to join their team in an entry level position. They are looking for graduates from a range of different backgrounds, who may have had knowledge or an interest in GI Disorders.

Year 1 will be lab based, working with the GC equipment, analysing samples and reading data. Full training is given for this.

Year 2 will be training on a specific piece of reflux equipment and answering technical questions from customers. You will also be involved with event planning and supporting sales staff. This is more of a science customer facing year that allows you to see other sides of a scientific company.

Year 3 involves training to become proficient in performing patient studies under Clinical Scientists. You will observe and perform clinical testing, and you will have the ability to work towards a formal qualification to become a practitioner in GI Physiology.
There is support, training and guidance throughout these 3 years, where you will receive a formal qualification at the end of the period, and the choice to choose which side of the business you prefer, whether that be lab based or customer facing. Successful individuals may travel both within and outside the UK, so flexibility to travel to other clinics is a must.

Job Requirements:

  • A 2:1 or above degree (or predicted) in a Life Science, Physiology or Biomedical field.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Flexibility to travel when needed (usually never more than once a month, all expenses covered)
