Job Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire, South East England (Commutable from Oxford, Swindon, Abingdon, Reading, Newbury etc.)
Job Salary: Competitive DOE
Job Contract: 6 months with potential progression to a permanent role

Our client, a leading provider of products within scientific research, are looking for a life science graduate with to join their team as a Graduate Marketing Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to make their first steps into a marketing role and use their scientific degree in a more creative way, away from the laboratory.
No marketing experience is necessary although if you have it that's a bonus! In house training will be provided, making this the perfect opportunity for you to begin your marketing related career.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be creating engaging content for the scientists that use the website and trained in a number of marketing practices such as WordPress and Magento.

  • Writing engaging SEO-friendly scientific content for the website
  • Working with WordPress and Magento platforms
  • Managing the social media accounts including LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Creating blog posts, white papers and other marketing material
  • Keyword planning and research for Google Ads and SEO


Job Requirements:

  • A degree in either Life Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Some experience with marketing would be beneficial, but not an essential requirement
  • An enthusiasm for sales and marketing as well as life science
  • Great time management and organisational skills
