Graduate Laboratory Technician – Daventry


A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team in our Laboratory in Daventry. WCS Group are recruiting for a Graduate Lab Technician, to carry out laboratory testing, Quality Control based tasks along with project work.

A full training and development plan will be provided, and implemented.


What will you be doing?

  • Quality control testing of chemical products
  • Chemical analysis and reporting
  • Troubleshooting and investigating issues in the field or in chemical products
  • Project work
  • Lab administration including report writing
  • Calibration of lab equipment
  • Prioritise and reprioritise a dynamic workload on a daily basis


What we need from you:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages to complete reports
  • Degree in Chemistry (or degree with high chemistry content)
  • Health and Safety awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal


What you get in return?

  • Salary: between £22,000 - £24,500 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
